Return Policy

The following return policy only applies to online purchases made through www.ondademar.com. All store purchases may only be returned to OndadeMar stores within the country where the original purchase was made. Purchases made to department stores or distributors may only be returned to the original seller.

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept the return of the items within 20 days of purchase, for exchage or store credit, if they are in perfect condition, and if they are not sale items.

Returns and Exchanges:
  1. Sale items are final sale. Sale items can’t be returned for an exchange, nor store credit. Any sale item returned would be sent back to the address registered in the original purchase at customer expense.

  2. Returned items that are non-sale items are eligible for an exchange or store credit valid for one (1) year. No refunds are offered.

  3. Returns are accepted within twenty (20) days from the shipped date.

  4. The returned item(s) must be returned in perfect conditions, unworn, with tags and the sanitary liner (for swimwear). Returned item(s) must be delivered with the original return form and their respective custom documents if applicable. Returned item(s) that are soiled, worn, damaged, laundered or in unacceptable conditions will be returned immediately to customers at their expense. OndadeMar reserves the right to refuse any item(s).

  5. All store credits are valid for one (1) year

  6. All exchanges are subject to stock availability.

  7. All international orders are considered final sales and are not eligible for returns nor exchanges.

Free Gifts:

Free gifts must be included if the order is returned, otherwise a restocking fee of 5% of the original purchase value will be discounted from the refund or credit store.

How to do a return or exchange:
  1. A return authorization form will be included in every purchase. Please fill out the form completely to prevent any processing delays. If you have requested an exchange please make sure you provide all the details in the return form such as the product, size and credit card information so that OndadeMar can cover the new shipping expenses. If you do not feel comfortable sending all this information via mail, you can contact a customer service agent at (305) 372 4560 Miami, FL. If you lost the return authorization form, please email websales@ondademar.com to request one.

Shipping and Delivery

Free Shipping:

All orders over $150 are eligible for free ground shipping within the U.S. territory. This policy is not valid for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO or international addresses. Additional charges may apply for express shipping.

Shipping Times:

Once the order has been approved please allow 1-5 business days for the order to be processed and then shipped. Please keep in mind that the time frame selected as shipping method during your checkout excludes any days necessary to process the order as explained above. Back orders, which come straight from Colombia, can take 3-4 weeks to be shipped. We only ship from Mon-Fri 8am-4pm ET.

Please Note:

During holiday season or promo days such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, please allow 1-6 business days to process your order.

International Shipments:

All addresses outside the United States are considered international destinations and will be subject to international shipping rates and timetables. International shipments take approximately 10-12 days to arrive. Duties and taxes issued in the destination country are responsibility of the recipient. Shipping charges are non-refundable if the package is refused by customer/customs or lost.

Delivery Services:
  1. After the purchase has been made, the customer has the option to choose from different FedEx & USPS delivery services such as standard shipping, or priority shipping. There might be a difference between shipping costs depending on the selected delivery service.

  2. FedEx offers the option to add direct signature service at an approximate fee of $3.50 USD. USPS does not charge for direct signature service. Direct signature allows anyone at the recipient address to sign for the package. If there is not someone to sign and receive the package, the delivery service will keep it and re-attempt delivery. Unless you have chosen the direct signature option, OndadeMar is not responsible for your package once it leaves our warehouse. By choosing direct signature no delivery service will leave the package at the front door. 

Track My Order

A tracking number will be emailed to the customer as soon as the purchase has been approved. The tracking number will allow the customer to track the status of the order. Customers can check the status of the order on the FedEx or USPS webpage.

How to measure:

In order to get the perfect fit, we give you an orientation when selecting your size. Be sure to take all your measurements across the colored line on our size charts.Be sure that the tape is not pulled away from your body or twisted at any point. Be sure you are not putting to much pressure on the tape and that you feel comfortable. If your measurements are between sizes, round down to the nearest even number.

SWIMWEAR (WOMEN-KIDS):

Bust/Chest: We recommend wearing a non-padded, non-minimizing bra when taking the measurements. It is also important to hold ones arms straight down at their side while measuring. Measure across the fullest part of the bust, threading a measuring tape across your back and under your arms.

Waist: Bend to one side and identify the natural indentation in your torso, which is your waist. Run the measuring tape around that point, through the back and parallel to the floor.

Hip: Stand with your feet together on an even floor and run the measuring tape across the fullest part of your hips, keeping it parallel to the floor.

Resrot Wear (Men):

Bust/Chest: We recommend wearing a non-padded, non-minimizing bra when taking the measurements. It is also important to hold ones arms straight down at their side while measuring. Measure across the fullest part of the bust, threading a measuring tape across your back and under your arms.

Waist: Bend to one side and identify the natural indentation in your torso, which is your waist. Run the measuring tape around that point, trough the back and parallel to the floor.

Hip: Stand with your feet together on an even surface and run the measuring tape across the fullest part of your hips, keeping it parallel to the floor.

Thigh: Stand with your heels apart (not to far) and run the measuring tape around the fullest part of thigh, keeping it straight, parallel to the floor and untwisted.

Pants: Stand with your feet together on an even surface and run the measuring tape from the place you like to put your pants (approximately 5” below waistline) and, with someone elseÕs help, keep the tape straight. There you can check how long the item is.

Dresses: Stand with your feet together on an even surface and run the measuring tape from your shoulder to the floor with someone elseÕs help to keep the tape straight. There you can check how long the item is.

3. How can i check the status of my order?

A tracking number is emailed to you as soon as your purchase has been approved. In most cases your tracking number will remain the same, however, please note that if any changes are made in the shipping information, service is upgraded or you are placing an international order a new tracking number will be generated. You will be notified of such a change via email. You will be able to contact our offices via email or phone if you have any further comments or concerns.

4. Do you accept phone orders?

5. How quickly do you ship?

Most of the orders within the U.S. will be shipped from 24-48 hours depending on item(s) availability. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays. International shipping usually takes within 10-14 business days to arrive at destination, but it may take longer depending on shipping dates, holidays and locations.

6. Can i order from anywhere in thew world?

You can order from anywhere around the world except from Colombia, the country in which we have plenty of stores to buy directly from one of them.

7. How can i return / exchange an item?

Sale items are final sale, which means they can’t be returned or exchanged. Any other full price item(s) are eligible for an exchange, store credit or refund. Please review our complete return/exchange policy for full details or call us at (305) 372-4560 from Mon-Fri 8am-5pm ET prior to placing your order for further information. When ready to use your credit, please do not place an online order; instead contact our offices and we will process it internally.
